The story of Sayyidina Yusuf – jozef (peace be upon him)

The Qur’an came with many and varied stories, which carry with it a lot of lessons and judgment, for the Muslim to learn from it and find what he has to do with calamities and sedition, and what he shows on the path of guidance in life, victory and the peasant in the hereafter. The Qur’an cites the stories of some prophets such as the story of Noah, Abraham, Issa, Moses and lot on them peace, and the stories of righteous servants such as the story of al-Khader and the story of a Pharaoh’s woman or stories of spoilers such as Lot’s, in addition to the stories of nations and former groups, such as the story of the cave owners Etc.

The story of Sayyidina Yusuf (peace be upon him)
One of the most beautiful stories of the Qur’an in general, and the stories of the prophets in particular, is the story of Sayyidina Yusuf (peace be upon him), which the Holy Qur’an spoke about, Surat (Yusuf) where God’s care and patronage are shown for the worship of righteous people and the wisdom of Allaah in all matters. The story speaks of the fact that the prophet Jacob ibn Ishaq ibn Ibrahim (peace be upon them) had twelve male sons, and of these children, Sayyidina Yusuf (as).

Yusuf (peace be upon him) was beautiful, the face was good, and his father was a favourite among his brothers and loved for his heart, and he has great business, which caused the hatred of his brothers and others of it and their snare.

The vision Yusuf saw in his dream.

When Sayyidina Yusuf, a 17-year-old man, saw in a dream that eleven planets, the sun and the moon prostrate to him, he rushed to his father to tell him his vision and through the insight of his father, knowing that Yusuf would have a great business and stature, he asked Yusuf not to tell his brothers that vision so that they would not be able to And arrange for him.

[Of these stories mention] when Joseph said to his father, “O my father, indeed I have seen [in a dream] eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me.” {4} yousef

Joseph’s brother’s conspiracy to get rid of him.
One day, the Brotherhood gathered to plot Yusuf to keep him away from his father, who loved him so much, suggesting that he kill Yusuf, while another suggested that they throw Yusuf in a distant land so that his father would forget him and love them instead of Yusuf, and then repent for them.
The brothers chose to throw Yusuf (peace be upon him) in a well on a road through which convoys pass to take one of these convoys and go away, then they went to their father and asked him to allow them to take Yusuf on a journey with them, and they told him

8 When they said, “Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, although we are a whole group. Our father is obviously in the wrong.

10 One of them said, “Do not kill Joseph, but throw him into the bottom of the well; some caravan may pick him up-if you must do something.”

11 They said, “Father, why do you not trust us with Joseph, although we care for him?”
12 “Send him with us tomorrow, that he may roam and play; we will take care of him.”

But Jacob’s mother felt the heart of his child’s affectionate August with some fear for him, and that their demand was not well-foreshadowing and he refused, and told them:

13 He said, “It worries me that you would take him away. And I fear the wolf may eat him while you are careless of him.”

But they persuaded him and promised him to keep Yusuf, and they said, ” 14 They said, “If the wolf ate him, and we are many, we would be good for nothing.”, they had what they want at the end and he was gone with them.
Yusuf Peace be upon him in the well
They threw Yusuf into a well, then returned to their father on the evening of crying and claiming that the wolf had eaten Yusuf (peace be upon him) after they had gone to the race and left him at their belongings. They came on his shirt with the blood of a lie as a witness to their lie, but Jacob remarked that Joseph’s shirt was not torn, felt their conspiracy and ordered him to God and counted, and said to them:

18 And they brought his shirt, with fake blood on it. He said, “Your souls enticed you to do something. But patience is beautiful, and God is my Help against what you describe.”

Yusuf remained in the well, until the day that a convoy went through to Egypt, and the convoy sent one of them to fetch water from the well, when he threw the bucket in the well attached to him Yusuf, when the man saw Yusuf Farah much and preached.
Sale of Yusuf as-Salam in the slave market
The convoy took Yusuf with them to Egypt to offer him for sale, and while he was on the market for sale, Aziz came to buy his boy, and he signed a sample on Yusuf and decided to buy it, bought it in a few dirhams. He then returned home and asked his wife to take care of Yusuf and improve his treatment, as he could become a child.
And he grew up and learned in the House of Aziz Egypt 22 When he reached his maturity, We gave him wisdom and knowledge. We thus reward the righteous. and the bigger the more beautiful and good, even the pharaohs woman began to admire him and care about him very much, and took her admiration to Yusuf to think about temptation.
The incident of the dear woman with Yusuf peace be upon him
One day, the Dear was outside his house, and the devil began to seduce the dear woman to invite Yusuf to do the outrageous, adorned and sealed the doors, and Yusuf entered her room;

23 She in whose house he was living tried to seduce him. She shut the doors, and said, “I am yours.” He said, “God forbid! He is my Lord. He has given me a good home. Sinners never succeed.”

And then the swifter Yusuf (peace be upon him) wants to get out of the room.
At the moment, her dear husband returned, and his wife was trying to clear herself up and clap the lies and accuse Yusuf of trying to do outrageous with her, and she told her husband:

25 As they raced towards the door, she tore his shirt from behind. At the door, they ran into her husband. She said, “What is the penalty for him who desired to dishonor your wife, except imprisonment or a painful punishment?”

Yusuf replied that she was the one who asked for it.
The husband referred to a man of his wife who was said to be a baby who was spoken by God, and this witness from Youssef’s shirt testified for his guilt or innocence, which was the best proof of his purity and chastity:

26 He said, “It was she who tried to seduce me.” A witness from her household suggested: “If his shirt is torn from the front: then she has told the truth, and he is the liar.

In doing so, he made sure that his wife betrayed him, saying to her:

28 And when he saw that his shirt was torn from the back, he said, “This is a woman’s scheme. Your scheming is serious indeed.”

And asked her to repent about her and forgive her guilt
The position of the aziz woman from the women of the city and their admiration to Yousef
A few days later, the news of the Dear woman and Yusuf in the city, and the women of the city talked about him and denounced by the dear woman, so I knew the dear woman and she was angry and she summoned them after having comfortable seats and gave each of them a knife, and then asked Yusuf to appear to the women.
When they saw him, and because of his extreme beauty and admiration, the women cut their hands without feeling, so the dear woman took the admiration of the women with Yusuf and their fascination with the beauty, justification for her and her great love for Yusuf; When Yusuf saw this, the city’s women admired him, Naji Rabbo, to keep him away from doing the outrageous act, even if he was in prison.

33 He said, “My Lord, prison is more desirable to me than what they call me to. Unless You turn their scheming away from me, I may yield to them, and become one of the ignorant.”

Yusuf Peace be upon him in prison and the vision of the boys :
Yusuf was placed in prison because of the sedition he raised in the hearts of the city’s women, and he entered the prison with two boys, one baker and the other my leg, and in view of Joseph’s morals and manners, they once said to him what they saw in their sleep.

36 Two youth entered the prison with him. One of them said, “I see myself pressing wine.” The other said, “I see myself carrying bread on my head, from which the birds are eating. Tell us their interpretation-we see that you are one of the righteous.”

He explained to them the visions that one of them would crucify and eat the bird from his head, and the other would survive and work for the king. Those who survived were asked to mention his story to the king for the pardon, which was why he was kept in prison for a few years.
The King’s revelation and Joseph’s explanation for it
The years go by and the bartender gets out of prison and works for the king, but he forgets to mention Yusuf at the king. Yusuf remained in prison until that day when the king saw in his dream seven quail cows eaten by seven skinny, seven greens and another land, and asked his entourage and his advisors to interpret this dream, but they answer that it is meaningless;

43 The king said, “I see seven fat cows being eaten by seven lean ones, and seven green spikes, and others dried up. O elders, explain to me my vision, if you are able to interpret visions.”
44 They said, “Jumbles of dreams, and we know nothing of the interpretation of dreams.”

The King’s revelation and Joseph’s interpretation of it
The years go by and the bartender gets out of prison and works for the king, but he forgets to mention Yusuf at the king. Yusuf remained in prison until that day when the king saw in his pajamas seven quail cows eaten by seven skinny, seven greens and the last land, he asked his entourage and his advisors to explain this dream, but they answer that it is meaningless; it is just pipe dreams
And here the bartender remembers when he explained to him and to the baker the visions that they saw in prison with what God had learned and how to achieve his interpretation, asking the bartender to go to jail to meet Yusuf to interpret his vision of the king.
Indeed, Yusuf has begun to explain the King’s vision that the meaning of quail cows and green sunbuls in his pajamas is seven years of great goodness, and in these years the king must spare the wheat in its sonbol because it will come after seven years of famine and hunger. Then the bartender went to the King and told him of Joseph’s interpretation of Revelation, and the King rejoiced and asked to meet Yusuf to reward him, Yusuf asked the king to investigate the reason for his imprisonment, sending the king in the request of the dear woman and other women and asked them about it, confessed their mistake and the chastity and innocence of Joseph.
Yusuf’s exit from prison after the appearance of his innocence
The king then decided that Yusuf would come out of prison after he appeared innocent and close to him, and Yusuf chose to be a secretary on the state Treasury and the King agreed. The King’s vision began to materialize and the years of prosperity were over and the years of famine and hunger began, but the king had worked with Yusuf’s interpretation of the vision and his will, storing enough food to overcome these lean years, so that people came to Egypt from everywhere to take their food and cereal needs.
The meeting of Youssef (peace be upon him) with his brothers in gdb years
One day when food was distributed to people, Yusuf’s brothers came to take their luck from food like the rest of the people, and Joseph saw them and knew them without knowing how to grow them and change their features. Yusuf required his brothers to come with their brother, who stayed at their father’s, to provide them with the food they needed.
59 When he provided them with their provisions, he said, “Bring me a brother of yours from your father. Do you not see that I fill up the measure, and I am the best of hosts?”
They told him that they would try, but within them they knew where their brother was at their father and that this was not easy for their father, especially after he had lost his loved heart, and before returning to their country, Yusuf ordered his soldiers to put the goods brought by his brothers to replace wheat and fodder.
When Joseph’s brother returned to their father, they told him the story and the condition that Yusuf had stipulated for them, and promised him to keep their brother, but Jacob Peace be upon them, fearing that they would make their promises as they did when Yusuf was sent to hunt, and he refused.

64 He said, “Shall I trust you with him, as I trusted you with his brother before? God is the Best Guardian, and He is the Most Merciful of the merciful.”

When the brothers opened their belongings, they found the goods they had gone to Yusuf to replace them with the fact that they still had them, told their father that their wares had been returned to them, and they were trying to persuade him that in sending it to their brother, they had a stake in getting food and more.
In the end, their father agreed, provided that they kept it after they gave him the oath, and then ordered them not to enter all-Eleven men-from one door, but from many doors.
Youssef’s meeting with his brother Benjamin and the watering incident
The brothers executed their father’s will for them and entered Egypt from separate doors, and when they arrived at Yusuf, Yusuf took their little brother who came with him, sat with him alone and told him his story with his brothers and their scheming. Yusuf then weighed the goods for his brothers, so when they prepared to return home, Yusuf asked his boys to put the watering

(A vase that was all in his little brother’s Travels)

And when the convoy started to leave, then by Menad he calls and refers to his brother Yusuf

70 Then, when he provided them with their provisions, he placed the drinking-cup in his brother’s saddlebag. Then an announcer called out, “O people of the caravan, you are thieves.”

They asked why they were charged (what do you lose)? The soldiers said: (We lose the King’s Pictures), and for those who came in, we will give him camel lamb.

His brother Yusuf denounced the accusation, but they did not come to steal, but they came to order food. The guard said

(Yusuf had sent them to what they were saying): What sanction do you wish to show that you were the one who stole it? His brother Youssef said: In our Sharia we consider who stole a slave for a robbery. The search began, and Yusuf ordered his soldiers to inspect his brothers ‘ vessels, found nothing and then searched his brother’s vessel, finding a pot of kale. The brothers discharged from their brother and did and said:

77 They said, “If he has stolen, a brother of his has stolen before.” But Joseph kept it to himself, and did not reveal it to them. He said, “You are in a worse situation, and God is Aware of what you allege.”

Jacob’s sons return to their father without Benjamin and their elder brother.
When they were desperate to return their brother, they were confused about what they would say to their father when they returned. The big one decided to stay in Egypt and not face his father until he authorized him, and asked his brothers to return to their father and tell him what happened, and to doubt it, ask the convoy they were with or the people of the city where they were.

But their father doubted it and did not believe them, and he was deeply saddened by Yusuf and his brother and delegated his order to Allah Almighty, and said to them: (he said, “I told you yourselves something, it is a beautiful patience, may God bring me to them all. Crying and continuing he lost his sight and he was angry with his sons and they said: (They said, “God keeps remembering Yusuf until she is inciting or being mortal.”

Jacob asked them to look for Yusuf and his brother; he felt the heart of the believer that Yusuf was still alive and the believer never despaired of God’s mercy.

For the forgiveness of Yousef for his brothers
The brothers traveled to Egypt looking for their brother and they seek some food and they have nothing but bad merchandise, and when they entered on Yusuf they said to him: when they entered it they said dear elderly and our families the harm and we brought a good merchandise And believe us that God shall reward the Motassadeq.

Yusuf replied to them with this question: “Did you know what you did to Joseph and his brother if you are ignorant?”

They were surprised at what they heard and said: “They said to you, Yusuf, I am Yusuf, and this is my brother who may God be from fear and patience, God does not waste the reward of philanthropists.”

Yusuf told them what had happened to him, how he was God and became an amen to the country’s coffers, so his brothers apologized to him and acknowledged their mistake, and he pardoned them and asked God to forgive them (he said, “Do not be forgiven today, God forgives you and he is the mercy of the Most Merciful.”

Then he gave them his shirt to throw him on the face of their father to return him to his sight (go with my shirt and put it on the face of my father and bring me with all your parents).

The return of sight to the prophet of God Jacob
While the brothers are on the way to their father returning from Yusuf, Jacob began to smell the scent of Yusuf and told those around him, but they did not believe him and that that was a figment of the imagination, and they said to him, “they said to God that you are in your old delusion.”

As the brothers arrived to their father until they threw Joseph’s shirt on his face, his gaze returned to him, and his brother Yusuf asked their father to forgive them, and Jacob promised them that he would forgive them. They said, our father, forgive us our sins, we were sinful, he said, I will forgive you, my lord, he is the merciful.

Meet Jacob with Yusuf and Benjamin in Egypt
Jacob and his family went to Egypt to see his son Yusuf and his brother, and Yusuf greeted them with the best reception, lifted his parents and seated them in his chair, and bowed to him respect and appreciation, and thus achieved the vision of the old Yusuf, which he saw as small, eleven planets with the number of brothers, the Sun and the moon are his parents.

100 And he elevated his parents on the throne, and they fell prostrate before him. He said, “Father, this is the fulfillment of my vision of long ago. My Lord has made it come true. He has blessed me, when he released me from prison, and brought you out of the wilderness, after the devil had sown conflict between me and my brothers. My Lord is Most Kind towards whomever He wills. He is the All-knowing, the Most Wise.”
Praise be to Allah Almighty for what he is honored by his king, and the knowledge I have

101 “My Lord, You have given me some authority, and taught me some interpretation of events. Initiator of the heavens and the earth; You are my Protector in this life and in the Hereafter. Receive my soul in submission, and unite me with the righteous.”

Thus, the story of Sayyidina Yusuf (peace be upon him) is carrying great lessons in patience and the power of faith, showing the wisdom and kindness of Allah Almighty in worshipping the righteous and taking their affairs. And the people of Patience).
